Gimenez has played in 32 big league games at 1B. He has made 21 starts there including 3 with us in 2014. I believe he played at 1B earlier this spring as well.

I must have slept through those 3, b/c I sure don't remember them. But I'm all for flexibility. Can't hurt a thing, can it?

FYI.....almost the last words out of Daniels mouth while leaving Tom/Buzz was, "our clubhouse chemistry right now may be the best I've ever seen." That's a statement-of-statements considering how strong our clubhouse has been for many years now.

Interestingly enough, Chirinos has played every infield position in the minors. He has over 100 games at each infield position except at 1B while playing in the minors.
