Yeah, so Kaepernick probably had the most impressive day today as a QB considering the defense they played against, but all the rest of it shows is how dialed up defenses were against known division rivals. Lots of QB's have less than stellar days against tough division opponents.

I saw Brees play in a monsoon at Carolina and get a whole slew of people here bashing him for throwing for 281

They didn't try to throw the ball. Legarrette Blount had over 300 all purpose yards and Ridley had 75 more on the ground.

Because he had more yards? Brady didn't have to throw the ball today since the running game was so effective. Thad had to because they were coming from behind. The one interception was not on Brady at all since it was in Vereen's hands and he clearly lost it himself. But just "looking" at the stats yes he did better than Brady today but if you watched the game Brady was better.

If you have a great running game (Patriots did today)... Why should a QB throw the ball? If you can run like Cam can... Why throw the ball?
