You guys can waste time debating the careers of Brady and Manning all you want. But here's what we know as fact right now in the present: A good deal, more than what's being talked about, of the Pats struggle on offense is a direct result of Tom Brady himself. Not his WRs, not his OL, he's just flat missing throws.

he has been missing wide open receivers, under throwing it, taking too long in the pocket....yes he has not been the same at all. I started a thread about in in the patriots board. Early in the season dropped passes killed the patriots, now it is piss poor offensive execution and it starts with Brady

it's amazing what happens when you have crappy WR's to throw the ball to.

I would argue that that award goes to Brett Favre.

I still laugh when I think about Favre and the Packers coming in here the year after they won the SB. Guess Brett told a few Colts and anyone that would listen our little team had no chance in hell of winning the next day.

Yeah, I was at that game. You guessed it.

He would continue to over/underthrow those receivers like he's been doing all season with the Patriots.

Psssst...........Have you even seen the Patriots play this season? If you have you would notice how clueless their receivers have been. As a passer you build a trust with your receivers, unfortunately, for Brady that is yet to happen with his. When he does get the ball to them it is dropped to often.

Your receivers can make you look damn good or damn bad. Right now they're making Brady look very bad. Yeah, he has thrown pass long and underthrown others but that's where the trust factor comes in, he's not exactly sure what his receivers are going to do on their routes. Actually, for the most part, I think Brady has done damn good for what Ive seen he's had to work with.

So I wouldn't talk if I were you, Philip Rivers had a great bunch of receivers last season and played like shit the whole year.

I would argue that Manning is playing on a much better team from almost every standpoint. At least on an individual level. His offensive line, RB's, TE's, WR's, pretty much everything. Special teams and defense also give them favorable field position a lot. anybody worth mentioning for the Pats seem to be hurt.

When Brady is playing well:

"Brady can make ANYONE a superstar."

When Brady sucks:

"It's the receivers."

I think both are superstars. I think one is clearly playing on a team with much better individual talent at almost every single position on offense and defense. You disagree? If you think 6 or 7 games is enough to override an entire career filled with probowl selections, MVP honors, and multiple superbowl rings, then good for you. I don't. He's struggling right now, and I think given enough time with his current crop of recievers, barring any more injuries, he will make them look better.

Saying that you think Manning's better than Brady is understandable. I disagree but hey, it's a reasonable stance to take. Saying that Brady's not even in the same league is just being fucking stupid.

....and speaking of just fucking stupid, some of you cats need to go back to get your GEDs. It's seriously difficult to even read through the grammatical ignorance on these boards. Holy fuck, just what grade did you guys drop out of anyway?

We're talking about regular season Peyton, right? I just want to be clear on which Peyton we're talking about.

Brady has done more with less than Peyton ever had to do. Give Brady Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne for 10 years. You see what he does with an old moss in 1 year. 50 touchdowns. While Peyton was getting knocked out of the playoffs consistently Brady was taking doin branch and David givens and David patten to superbowls. Oh, Brady plays half a season in the snow, Peyton played most seasons in a dome. I like Peyton, but the facts are stacked against him in this argument.
