doubtful that he would hold it against them ... it probably ramps up the offers from other teams for Bergevin to deal with though

I think Chia wants to make a deal with Montreal for Subban, but Lowe and MacT (and meddling owner Katz) are preventing him from doing so.

Realistically there are only a handful of clubs that could swing a deal and accommodate his contract so I'm sure whoever is in has already spoken to him. All this did really was ramp up the media pressure on him, which I'm guessing he would rather not have had to dealt with.

Of course, if he does trade him he'd have to deal with it at some point anyway.
