They taste like fake cookies to me... like, they have a weird aftertaste.

Really? I never noticed one. I was actually happy when CVS changed (and totally screwed up) my favorite cookies because now I don't want them anymore.

Now that's just ridiculous. How could i justify going on a craft brew diet when there are so many delicious soups and meats and potato foods out there?

But it will help me not get Type II Diabetes when I get old - it runs in the fam you know, I gotta watch myself.

Plus there's a correlation with a (female) waistline bigger than 35 inches and a higher rate of cancer.

I do not want diabetes and I do not want cancer. Therefore, no more keebler soft bake cookies, no matter how deliciously soft and chewy they are.

I understand then. A doctor told me when I was 21 to lay off the sweets, or I would have dibetes within a few years. I was out of control.

I'm not in horrible danger right now or anything - my waist is 30 inches, so it's almost where it belongs (28 is my goal; that's what it used to be when I was a healthy weight), and I've lost 10 pounds, so I just have 30something to go...my weight does keep fluctuating so I'm just trying to weigh myself once a week to see if that helps.

But I'm trying to form good habits now. I'm sure it's much easier to lose weight at 23 than it is at 53 which is round about when I'd have to start worrying about the diabetes, I think.

I'm not much of a sweets person, so when I do eat them, they taste funny.

I don't eat cake, cookies, or doughnuts. I liked sweets when I was younger, but now I just tend to crave saltier things

I like food, don't get me wrong... just never took to cakes and pies and stuff like that.

The only time I've ever really wanted either is when I smoke. I mean, I'll take it if it's offered to me, but dessert is pretty meh sober.

I make my own its much different from the stuff yoiu get at the store.Hell I make all my own sweets aside from ice cream
