What did the Texans give up to move up? I'm trying to keep track of both the draft and the Penguins, and it's not working well.

Next years 1st, so Cleveland owns the Texans 1st and 2nd rounder next year. That will suck when they don't even make the playoffs

Tell that to Andrew Luck or John Elway. I think some QB prospects are so talented, they are franchise QBs day 1. Not to say that your point is completely off.

Notice they went at the very top of the draft. And are longstanding outliers.

There will be several franchise caliber QB's coming out next year that will run circles around this QB class, or at least have a much higher chance on paper as viewed at this time. It's just not a great class.

Darnold,Mayfield,Rosen,Browning,Falk........... But this trend is boding well for teams that need defense. From what I read the Raiders want King. But I don't think they expected this much defense still on the board

Darnold,Mayfield,Rosen,Browning,Falk........... But this trend is boding well for teams that need defense. From what I read the Raiders want King. The cavaet to the over/under is the number of games Watson starts but I get what you're saying.

If Watson gets his ball velocity fixed then he could be the best QB in the class with a year or two of lumps first.

He's had hot garbage around him throughout his career and still can get his team to the playoffs and put up impressive stats.

No worse that the talent TB started with. Luck is over rated. I blame his ineptness more on coaching. You know he didn't have to follow the money.
