I personally believe Nebraska has to win all 4.

Even if they win the Illinois, Northwestern, and Indiana games, they'll have to beat Wisconsin in the PBA. I've saiid since November they'll need 20 wins.

When it comes to bubble teams, nothing prevents the commitee from using personal bias. It'll be easy for them to say you didn't get that quality win over Wisconsin or nice home win over Wisconsin, you should have beaten Illinois and not lost to UAB, Purdue, aand Penn St earlier.

They pretty much are gonna stroke Pitino's kid.

How amped with Husker nation be if they win the next 3 and meet hot Wisconsin team in a must-win game?!

PBA would be insane as long as the Huskers stay within reach throughout the game.

By the way, my wife hates me. I just realized that we are going on a tropical vacation overseas a day before the B1G tournament starts. What do I do? Skip the trip?

I'm bored at work today, so here's a question:

Knowing that Nebraska basically needs to win out to have a chance at the NCAA, would you rather have:

A) the current schedule in front of us of Illinois, Northwestern, Indiana, Wisconsin knowing that all but 1 of those games won't necessarily help you if you win them but they will certainly hurt you if you lose them.

Or

B) A schedule similar to say, Minnesota's of Ohio State, Iowa, Michigan and Penn State where losing 1 or 2 may not hurt you as much as winning possibly 3 of those would cerainlty help you quite a bit.

Or would it be the same as it is now where Nebraska still needs to win out?

Just playing hypotheticals here.

Basically what looks better in the last 2 weeks or so? 2 quality wins against top 25 teams or 3 average wins and 1 quality win?

Those selection committee folks better google Dan Beebe and decide whether they want to fuck over the Huskers or not.

Oklahoma St has LOST 7 of their last 9 games.

They are considered "Last 4 In" on ESPN's Bracketology.

They are in 8th place in the Big XII with a (6-9) conference record, (18-10) overall.

They beat Big XII (0-15) TCU tonight.

OMFG OKLAHOMA STATE IS SO AWESOME!!!!! (ESPN commentator Hacks) :L

Well Brent Musburger just said the Big 12 is "the deepest conference in the country this year, there's no question about it" so maybe that's why (6-9) Okie State is still valid? 6-9!!!!!??????

You sometimes gotta wonder if anything is going on behind the scenes.

I mean, think about it......all a coach really wants is to make it into that tourney somehow. He don't care if it's ugly as hell.....if he makes the tourney, he's got a chance to make a run.

So you gotta wonder if any money is ever being forked around.

I mean, wasn't Joe Lunardi like 100% accurate last year? Shit, the Committee is literally just taking the guys word for it. Who's to say a coach can't go to Lunardi and hand him a wad of cash?

So who ya rootin for tonight?

Minnesota is one spot behind Nebraska in RPI. The Big 10 will probably only get 6 teams max into the tournament. A loss tonight would get them off Nebraska's ass (if Nebraska can win @ Illinois tomorrow night).
An Iowa loss would help Nebraska in the overall Big 10 Standings, but benefit Minnesota in RPI as a quality win.

Definitely rooting for Indiana on the road, but chances are slim there.
