I seriously believe we are going to beat Illinois on the road after listening to these guys.

I am so happy we beat Penn State and Purdue with no problem. That means we aren't looking ahead.

This Illinois game is the one I had marked on my calendar as soon as we beat Michigan State. Winning this game would go a long LONG ways for this team.

It would likely mean that we will get to 10 wins no matter what.

I would have to assume we will be slight underdogs on the road.

We are gonna find out just how strong this team is and if they have become who we think they have become.

As I said before, I think this game is the most important coming down the stretch. Winning it likely sends us to an 11 win season at least in my opinion.

Just saw some projections that have Nebraska as a 1 seed in the NIT along with Minnesota.

I predict that he'll have Minnesota and Nebraska both in the Next Four Out.

The more I hear about this kid. We get some really good kids at Nebraska. It's fun to be a Husker fan right now.

I don't know, to me it's the game I've had set in my targets since the Mich St game.

We were supposed to win the Penn St and Purdue games, but this one the experts have us losing. There is good reason for that too......Illinois has elite scoring threats and they're at home.....and we are still young.

I think winning this one will cement the fact that we are good away from home now and will really send the message that we aren't planning on losing any of these remaining games.

Last time we played Illinois they jumped out to a big lead, but we used our home crowd to get back into it. What happens if we fall behind early @ Illinois? I just think this one is a big measurement for how far we've come.

I would just like to say, that while making it to the NCAA would be awesome, regardless it is so damn fun to still be jacked about Nebraska basketball in the last week of February. This has been the best winter in quite a while for me.

If they were to go to 6, then Minnesota would still get in over Nebraska.

Much more work to do and a win Wednesday night is merely an NIT qualifier if not followed by wins against Northwestern and @ Indiana.

I personally believe Wisconsin will be must win as well.

Minnesota should not be right on the outside looking in after losing SIX of their last EIGHT games.

I've listened to this shit for years about how it's the way a team finishes a season that determines their fate because the selection people want "hot" teams.

Well folks, Nebraska is 8-6 and has a better resume as well as a head-to-head win over Minnesota AND has won 7 of their last 8 games.....and Minnesota is 6-9....

I think it's bullshit that we have to win every single game from here on out just because we aren't the media's darling that Minnesota is. Bullshit bullshit bullshit.

That pisses me off. We are by far and away in a better position than Minnesota. It's a fucking joke.

Even though they need to keep losing, I will root for them tomorrow night when they host Iowa.

I'll root for them to lose @ Michigan and then at home to Penn St.
