We sure would like it if Bruce could get his
Ave up to
250=260....might just be a dream though

And if not..at least 230..but they won't be able to trade him for...butterscotch..if he does not

When seager gets back..dont want to see
Him and bruce in the lineup at the same time...as starters anyway

But the mariners have no better option at 3b.....maybe shed long can make it up to mlb

Maybe..i am dreaming again

Maybe some coffee would work...for me..

lololol

I think we've learned this wont probably be a record setting offense although they've face elite starters the last few days.

The bullpen is pretty hit or miss. The reality is a Walmart bullpen is gonna yield a great deal of Walmart results.

Ryon Healy is who he is. And something needs to be done about SS. Whether thats Crawford or whatever else. Beckham has 7 errors in 14 games. I dont care if you are rebuilding, tanking, contending, whatever you cant have piss poor defense at SS no matter what he's hitting.

Yeah..and Moore is is not the answer...right now at utility..so far..

But they can find a spot for Beckham and they have some time

Santana seems like a future dh and vogelbach
Then bring bishop..and a LHH.....?
The outfield is looking good.

.it is ok
For Healy to be healy..as long as he does not go backwards.
Imo...for now

The last few games are more of what I was thinking this season would be looking like. Was an amazing beginning, but like what someone had said earlier, it is (was) a fluke. Has the bullshit has begun? Things are starting to fall into place I think.

Beckham will come back down to earth, its already happening. He's more a utility guy. The point is with a staff that wont strike a ton of guys out and 3rd baseman with no range, you simply cannot have terrible SS defense. That's a spot where you sacrifice offense for defense not the other way around.

Healy is only up here because Seagar is hurt. If the roster stays the same, he will go down to Tacoma once Seagar is back

Just got back from couple days hiatus and didn't get a chance to follow the games.

But wow! Look like these guys came back down to earth in a hurry. The HR streak is still alive but the Astros really showed them who's the boss in this division despite the record.

The Cleveland series is also off to a similar start and unfortunately they will walk away with a losing record this home-stand. Hopefully they can turn it around tonight.

Current HR streak is at 19 games.
Current losing streak is at 4 games.

Game 2 against the Indians 4/16/19 at 7:10PM.

Leake (2-0, 4.15ERA) vs. Bieber (1-0, 1.80ERA)

M's: (13-6, 5-4 H)
Indians: (9-7, 3-6 A)

Be interesting to see how Cano progress throughout the year. His struggles this April has been somewhat unusual, as over the past 3 seasons (2016-2018), April is usually one of his better months in terms of productivity.

From 2016-2018: 285 AB with a .256/.344/.467/.811 along with 15 HR's, 55 RBI's, and 36 BB's.
His career splits for April is also very similar.

Overall, he generally produce in April and is very consistent.

Yeah..i know it early only 50 at bats into the season for AAA ..but shed long and Crawford are hitting over 300
That is good..catcher Aaron nola hitting
400..in 30 at bats

But if those guys can't cut it soon..
The mariners..dont have many more choices...below them..for now

Although a few guys at AA are doeing ok
A double jump would be too much for them imo

Guys need to stay hot..with the mariners
Or not have a carrier left after...unfortunitly

Pitching is prob 50..50 .. so..lets see Swanson and shefield...cuz ..can't dance...lolol..lablanc is out..so roll with it..lol

Beckham’s defense strikes again. Won’t show up in the box score but a dropped DP keeps the inning alive and two runs score. Can’t have that shit

I see we're back to one of our trademark moves...
Early lead, given up within a couple of innings.

Way to shit the bed early, you guys.

Yep, let the good times roll....right down the hill. I missed how shitty the Mariners were up to the Boston series but now I feel like I'm back home with our wonderful M's :trash::pound:

This is where I think if Crawford was remotely ready in Jerry’s mind Beckham should be starting at 3B. His defensive SS skills scream 3B much like how Seager went was an average at best 2B to a notch below elite level 3B.

5 straight losses... The exact reason it was hard to buy into their winning streak... Is what it is... .500 baseball... the rest of the way... If we're lucky....

Told you guys:

Series Thread: - Mariners vs Astros April 12-14

Not that it's some SUPER AMAZING prediction, this was fairly expected. We did some work against the BoSox which was great but then beat up a bunch of shitty teams before running into some very good teams warming up as the season kicks off. It's the reason I said we'd be 2-8 to come out of this 10 game stretch... and so far I'm right on pace. The Ms are NOT a good team. We've set an MLB record and done some great things so far... but you gotta be real about it. It was 15 games prior to a pretty tough stretch. THAT'S what you're basing your "Where is our recognition and articles!?" on? Jesus....

Not bashing the Ms... but this is not a playoff team on paper. If they get there? AWESOME. Will it be something the entirety of baseball anticipated? No. Ms made some decent moves this offseason and are finally not the worst farm system in the MLB... but there's a lot of work to do...

Anyway - of COURSE ESPN/sports dumbass analysts that SOMEHOW are paid thousands for their 'expert prediction' started hyping the Ms right around this time. I saw right through it... right @rightstuff ?

I saw the play and thought the same thing. Won't go as an error but may as well be. He's a terrible SS and isn't hitting either. That's not good.
