Friday and Saturday night games are always big hits, so the attendance on Friday and Saturday should be strong. I'm already getting texts from friends of mine I told the team wouldn't finish above .500 (people who can't name more than 5 regulars on the team), trying to argue I was massively off the mark with that prediction.

I think there is a difference in sellouts though. When the Pink turns into a hipster bar like most Friday and Saturday nights is different than the electricity of a sell out of people trying to more than get an easy hook up. But there definitely is a buzz around the area, but at least all the people I know are just enjoying the ride, not putting deposits down for the playoffs or looking for deadline deals etc.

I agree regarding Zunino.

Prior to his call up, he only had around 90 or so games played in the minors and was hitting .227/.297/.478 in AAA. Unfortunately it just worked out that Zunino is a guy with monster power, great pitch framing ability, but making contact consistently has just never really happened for him. With his bat, he's at best the guy he was in 2017, and at worst the guy who we saw in 2018. He will probably stick around in the majors for a while due to his power and pitch framing abilities, but I'd be stunned to ever see him hit above .260.

With how he is currently or hell even last year he would make a great backup catcher for this club or nearly any club. But ya, no idea how he can somehow get back on track. Throughout his entire life he has shown the ability to hit but it seems like in baseball once you are broke you can’t get it back. Like Rick Ankiel when he was the best young pitcher in the game then it just vanished on him mentally.

Yah... I mean I really like Gamel too... I have a Bowman rookie PSA 10 rookie auto of him... but Domingo IMO has such higher upside.
