I honestly think they smartened up and figured they could have the 1/2 game suspension blow up in their face and Jameis could emerge a conquering hero. Which isn't the goal.

Should have been a full game to begin with, now they look like idjits.

this game is a win-win for them now. it is a good for their pr department. if they lose it will be because their best player didn't play. this and nd are the 2 tough games on their schedule. if they beat nd they walk into the playoff

I didn't know the media was that displeased with the suspension. I really don't pay much attention to them though.

I would have had more respect for them if they didn't suspend him at all rather than backpedaling and changing it less than 24 hours before the game without a legitimate excuse.
