I couldn't find a more updated list. Some of the rankings are surprising, some aren't. Still, the takeaway is youre safer on campus than off of it. Criminal activity on campuses seems also to correlate to the crime level in the areas around the campus. (Thus why UCLA is #1)

The prospect of looking like freshmen their entire lives is indeed appealing to some.

That system you speak of is why like another 57 schools they have the feds down there. This ws one of over 20 cases being investigated. This one just being the highest profile.

Cmon, statement after statement has came out from assault victims saying the FSU system was a sham.....and not just when fball players are involved.

I have limited data points, but I saw things happening in response to Title IX responsibilities for reporting sexual assaults to campus communities that I have not seen in any of my previous years. Schools are taking this very seriously. But that's what happens when you threaten to pull funding from federal sources like NSF, NIH, NEA, etc. from schools that are not complaint.

Actually, (in fairness) I don't know if it was because of title IX or in response to the failures at Penn State over the Jerry Sandusky debacle. The two situations do have some overlap. Regardless, this is serious shit. Schools with even a modicum of intelligence are taking it very seriously.
