Whelp, looks like more dogshit basketball to come. Interim coach Zac Claus, who is 5-20 this year against D-1 teams and lost to LCSC and CWU is being retained as the new full time head coach.

What the fuck man. I guess the new AD is just as bad as Spear.

Two days away from the spring opener against EWU. And holy fuck, a real QB under center? Might be interesting. The front seven on this Idaho team is real damn good by FCS standards.

I got EWU 41-20 though because Paul Petrino never gets his teams ready to play week 1.

I think 3-3 is likely.

Wins: At NAU, vs SUU, at ISU
Losses: EWU x 2 and UC Davis

Would not shock me if they beat EWU once and then lose to ISU though. 3-3 in any case.

Pretty stoked to see a decent QB prospect under center once more... However the O-line is a sore spot after losing 4 of its starters. The Sierra College transfer at center looks ok. But other than that, its Floyd & everyone else.

Side story... My pops sent me a pic of himself with Mike Iupati at the airport. They were both on the same flight to Oahu last weekend. Commented on how nice & down to earth he was.

So far Beaudry hasn't disappointed. Looks decent! Even in the loss to the Aggies he was a lone bright spot.

I never talked to the guy, but used to see him around campus quite a bit when I was there. My mom and sister have met him on separate occasions.

He graduated in the same class as my wife. I remember he had a huge family at the graduation ceremony.

2-4 overall. Wow. That's pretty sad.

You'd like to blame all the COVID and injury stuff but every team was dealing with that. The losses to NAU and ISU were as embarrassing as it gets. Those are BAD FUCKING TEAMS.

Really they were lucky to not go 0-6 as the EWU and SUU wins were all last second victories.

Really pathetic considering all the talent on the roster. The coaching is just complete ass. New OC coming next year after Cink retired and hopefully we get CJ some playing time. Beaudry is coming back but he's a fifth year senior and not the long term answer. Either way though, this is probably a 4 win team next season. GOOD THIS THEY DROPPED DOWN SO THEY COULD WIN MORE GAMES RIGHT????!?!?! HAHAHAHHA.

But for real, it is just painful to watch some of these games. The team certainly is more competitive, but that's because the competition at this level sucks so much ass that they are winning games with performances that would get them blown out by 3 scores against even the worst SBC or MWC teams. It's just bad football right now.

I watched the first two drives and then turned it off. Knew what was coming.

Top 2 QBs were out for Idaho which explains the bad offensive play. But giving up 71 to ANYBODY is a joke. Looks way worse when it's to a team that barely eeked out a W against the worst team in the MWC conference.
