i think you misunderstood me. someone said that schick sold out. i said that if it was anyone that "sold out" (notice the quotations) it was kugler. i love kugler. i actually go to church with him. i am happy for his opportunities and there is no way i would turn those opportunities down (you forgot the olympics). i don't think he sold out, i think he moved on to other opportunities.

The words "sold out" have a terrible conotation. I didn't forget the olympics. He has been doing those for years now. I am pretty sure this will be his 3rd olympic games. That is part of the Westwood One stuff.

I apologize if I read into that wrong. Like I said, "sold out" has a terrible conotation.

BTW, I know you didn't say this but Schick didn't "sell out" either!!!!!! It will all make sense after the final announcement is made "official".

Schick is entertaining. I don't care for Nick, his laugh just rubbed me the wrong way after a while.

I enjoy when Severe starts talking about New Orleans because I can relate to a lot of it. He was a good side-kick for Kugler.

i think we both are very sad that shick and nick is no longer, and i'm not sure how much you like kugler on unsportsmanlike conduct, but i love both the shows the way they are and am very upset to see them change. i understand why everyone involved made the moves they did, and the "sold out" term was not my words. i am just sad that my sports radio will be changing drastically. i listen to both shows in my car in lincoln, despite the static and shitty quality.

like i said i listen to 1620 most of the time so i don't know many people on 1480...it took me a few months of listening to on the bench before i decided that i would rather get a little static than listen to that show.

To say I love the Schick and Nick show and Unsportsmanlike Conduct shows is a MASSIVE understatement!!!!! I listened to 1620 before it was 1620. Kevin and Bob took over for a family friend named Gary Java 12 years ago. I was pissed as all hell that Gary was gone. I quickly started liking Unsportsmanlike Conduct. Kugler is one of the best guys I have ever met. He is genuinely a nice guy. Before I say too much I will just say that I will miss Kevin more than I could say. Kevin knows what he has meant to me on that show.

I hate change as much as the next guy. But I get the changes and understand them. I may not miss all the Creighton basketball talk but Nick will be missed almost as much!!!!! I would like to say he will be missed just as much but he has only been around for just under 3 years as opposed to Kevin's just under 12. I have been so addicted to both of those shows for their duration that I could tell you things about the shows that even the hosts don't remember.
