LMFAO at you telling me what WAR means. :laugh3:

As for the Yankees payroll, I have 100x more confidence in the Yankees front office than I do KC's. Shall I post all the Yankees achievements since 1985, while KC has been a dead fish in the water since?

As for the Royals and their defensive abilities, I don't really care. If we we're discussing a legitimate team that contends every season., well then I might have some motivation and interest to pursue this discussion.

100x more confidence???? or $100 plus million dollars?

Its amazing how much the Yankees and Royals cost per win this season is? "its the front office", lol, "its the bank account"...same thing

100x more confidence BECAUSE of the 100 million+ more payroll...I would too...the front office is genius for getting Tanaka...ummmm...because they bought him or they saw the potential that other front offices didn't, lol.

with the yankees payroll, if the front office was any good, they would have had more WS rings in the last 29 years. They definately out spent teams to even not get rings.

His majesty's audience lasted for 15 minutes.

Hopefully it was satisfactory for him.

The Yankees have 5 WS championships since 1985, more than any other organization. I'm happy with that. It would get boring if the Yankees won it every season.

I hope to see the Cubs win it in my lifetime.

Jetes down to .265 and slumping. Virtually anyone else in the game would be in the 6-spot but not Jetes. Will stay in the 2 hole til the last AB. :L

Jeter by far the weakest link in AL All Star Lineup

2014 All-Star Game starting lineups - CBSSports.com

American League
1. SS Derek Jeter, Yankees
2. LF Mike Trout, Angels
3. 2B Robinson Cano, Mariners
4. 1B Miguel Cabrera, Tigers
5. RF Jose Bautista, Blue Jays
6. DH Nelson Cruz, Orioles
7. CF Adam Jones, Orioles
8. 3B Josh Donaldson, Athletics
9. C Salvador Perez, Royals

What a tremendous joke.

This should come as no surprise. Everyone knew he was going to play and start. Just be happy this is the last time you will have to see him. Don't be surprised when he wins the All-Star MVP award either.

He gets a single or makes 1 good defensive play and the award is his.

This. I'm going to be so delighted to see gloryhounds like him and Mariano out of the game.

Why is he batting leadoff? Okay, he got voted in, he has to start, but leading off? He's the weakest hitter in the lineup.
