So why does Hawaii, and Cal get to play the Friday before everybody else?

Hawaii plays 13 games in the regular season. They technically play twice in week 1, so this game's a week before everyone else.

I have California winning 35-10.

Looking at the SportsHoopla Bookie odds, I am not too far off of the spread. I am quite under the O/U. That is making me think, "Maybe Cal has a better offense than I thought." Might not be giving Goff's backup enough credit.

okay, get to scout Cal with their coach who's the son of a Texas coaching legend and little brother of another of his son's who I played football with growing up, and a Texas Tech former QB. Wonder how that Davis kid will do this year.

I remember in 9th grade, Rick Dykes had a nice old car and I didnt have one yet. We'd go to a Bar BQ joint run out of a train caboose that someone towed into a lot for lunch. Great food.

Then at practice I'd inevitably end up throwing up in 100 degree heat. Of course Dykes was a quarterback, they didnt have to do shit so he'd get to keep his lunch.
