Iowa :L

Terrible losses back to back.

Fran has to be on the hot seat at this point right? Seems like at least the third straight season Iowa has had the talent to compete for the B1G title and...hasn't.

I don't see Fran on the hot seat at this point. After Iowa suffered through the Alford and Lickliter regimes, I think Fran will have a longer leash. Last year he did get Iowa back to the Tourney after 8 years of not making it.

I also don't see that we have the talent to compete for a title this year (or last year). We're Iowa and will probably always be in the upper half of the standings, but will rarely, realistically compete for the title..

And we still have to atone for our bad karma for firing Dr Tom Davis (at least half a century of karma)

Was fun watching Lou Rawls guard Muhammad-Ali last night. Wasn't much of a game, but it's nice owning Crisler again.

Gophers officially suck...Losing to NW at home? Good grief. Play some damn defense. Gophers are steadily declining since Pitino has taken over. I don't expect next year to be any better with the losses of Dre, Mo and Matthieu.

Funny thing is, Minny has some good talent. They play the best D in the League and have shooters...

Best D in the league? They just gave up 70+ to NW! And have given up 30+ 3 pointers in the last 2 games. They suck on D.

Yogi...why you just gonna run down court and throw up a stepback 3? That ain't your game! What an embarrassing loss.

Minnesota is #9 in the conference in defense, per KenPom. #1 is actually Nebraska which makes sense if you watch them. It's too bad that they are one of the worst offensive squads in America.

Ehh...I didn't think it was that bad. Purdue clearly had the better frontcourt and you clearly had the better backcourt. The game was always gonna come down to whether you hit open shots, and you didn't. 5-16 on threes and 10-16 on FTs won't be enough when you get outrebounded by 17. And those rebounding numbers, as you know, aren't a fluke. Your big guys can't do anything to match up with the height of Haas and Hammons, and they tipped the ball to their open teammates when they couldn't grip it.

We could replay that game a dozen times, and they all would look like that. The only question would be which team shot better.

So, can we finally put the "D'Angelo Russell deserves B1G POY over Kaminsky" talk to rest now? Frank's 13-0 in the B1G with the highest PER in America. This team lost to Rutgers without him, and barely has a positive +/- when he isn't on the floor for the season. I can't believe the media actually tried to make this into a debate.

Took out some frustration on Rutgers today. Good showing. Schedule is favorable the rest of the way we need to finish strong.

Why not? You have to have someone else in the race or else they wouldn't have anything to talk about. If nothing else, it's made for good conversation.

MD gets a huge win over Wisconsin. Terps looking like a 3 seed at this point. Especially with the ND loss last night and the Utah/UL struggles.

Wisconsin basically locked up a 2 seed IMO. B1G has really let them down this year. Wisconsin is only 3-2 against teams that project to be in the bracket(Boise State is close, so maybe 4-2).
