It's a good thing for Michigan and Michigan St that Wisconsin wasn't interested in winning the Big 10 Tournament. It just wasn't important.

If they really wanted to they'd have been cutting nets.

Has Wisconsin won at Nebraska and kept winning through the Big 10 Tournament they'd likely been a 1 seed. Of course they didn't want that 1 seed, didn't care about winning according to you.

The fact is their 8 game winning streak was a bit deceiving, just like I said it was. You knew that to, hence the preemptive excuses.

That being said, how was the 8 game win streak deceiving? It's not like we were rolling over cupcakes. Yeah the Iowa win looks worse now, but it's still a road win over a tourney team. We also won @Illinois, who isn't great, but played well toward the end of the season. Add in wins @Michigan, and home vs. MSU, and a couple of lower tier B1G wins, it was a pretty impressive winning streak.

And yes, we played like total garbage vs. MSU in the first half, but they also played an outstanding game. And the Badgers were able to make it a game. If you watched, you know that MSU didn't let up in the second half. They scored 40 points, and were playing in transition the entire half. If anything, Wisconsin slowed the game down once it got within 10.

He's just trolling, dude. And what have I said here that is so indefensible? Everyone else had already explained to him that the Nebraska game was huge for them, and of no real consequence (beyond wanting to win any game) to Wisconsin; it was even commonly agreed upon via other Nebraska fans. I just saw him floundering around again and it reminded me that I should dredge that conversation back up.

I never said the game wasn't big. It was AS BIG as the games at Indiana, Northwestern, Purdue, and the game @ Michigan St. Lose any of those games and we aren't having this conversation.
Wisconsin's 8 win streak was deceiving and I already posted the reason's why I came to that conclusion, so losing @ Nebraska should not have come as a surprise to anyone.

You giving credit to a couple of 20 something year old Nebraska fans calling that the "Biggest game in program history" who were still shitting in diapers when Nebraska was playing bigger games is laughable.
It isn't even a Top 5 biggest game in program history.

Any past game where Nebraska has played in the NCAA tournament is a bigger game by far.

Baylor is already a bigger game.

Illinois plays Boston at 7:00pm tomorrow night.

Iowa/Tennessee Play in game is at 9:00pm.
