Youre older than me, I admit it

I'll go off if Nebraska can win an NCAA Tourney game. That'll be something I've never seen, something they've never done, and the biggest win in program history.

I hope the team isn't content with this win.

How? I don't care what your record is or who you played if you're not even in striking distance of 1st place you cannot justify being ranked ahead of the team that is.

And until a Bo Ryan team proves us wrong....let's not use the words Wisconsin and Final Four together quite yet

Because the AP rankings don't mean squat. I just get irritated when people whine about rankings. Plus I was pissy about Iowa losing again..the same team that destroyed Michigan in Iowa City...the same team Wisconsin beat in IC.

You see, rankings really mean nothing.

You guys need to learn how to handle a 'little' bit of success.

Nebraska has accomplished nothing they've never accomplished before and you want to act like they just got into the Final Four. :L

They've done all of this and more. However mommy was still giving you baths at the time, and that's why you think it's somehow unique. It's just a regular season bball game for cripes sake. They didn't even win the Big 10.

I agree with this. Let's not make our basketball program resemble anything like Missouri or Kansas in Football about 7 years back.

Great atmosphere at the Bank last night, especially during the post game celebration/interviews. Love seeing that much passion in college ball. Helluva win Nebraska...I thought Wisco may pull away there early in the 2nd. :suds:

Current COY order, imo:

1. Miles
2. Beilein
3. Ryan

I endorse this ranking. :suds:

we might be seeing more than a renaissance or resurrection of Nebraskaball.
this could be the birth of something brand new.
kewl!

(was also encouraging to see Maryland pull UVA's plug on Saturday.)

Is it me or were Craft's numbers down this year?

They would give it to him regardless of stats. He is the best defensive guard hands down. But numbers, I don't know, I will have to check that.

No doubt there. I give him shit for his shooting ability, or lack thereof, but the kid is a great defender.

Looks like he's up a bit from last year but still down from his sophomore season. Lead the B1G again in steals.

He is not made for the NBA, just a great college player. He can defend, but when you get in the NBA they are faster, stronger, and shoot much better. I could see him playing overseas or something like that.

I'm a little late, but congrats to Nebraska. The atmosphere in Lincoln was incredible to watch. This game was significantly more important to Nebraska, that's not to say that a win wouldn't have been great, but the Badger really had nothing to play for outside of the miniscule chance that maybe a 1 seed could happen.

I think Nebraska is safely in, but if I'm a Nebraska fan I'd definitely want the Huskers to at least win their quarterfinal game at conference tourney to solidify their tourney birth.

Also, congrats to Nigel Hayes on 6th man of the year. Nigel was deserving of some conference recognition, had a huge impact as a true freshman.

Vegas odds of B1G teams to cut net...

Versus final AP rankings.

AP rank...Vegas Odds...VO rank

#8 Michigan...20-1...#11
#12 Wisconsin...18-1...T#8
#22 Mich.State...10-1...T#5 (w/Duke)
#24 Ohio State...55-1...T#21
#34 Nebraska...NA...NA
#35 Iowa...55-1...T#21
NR Indiana...500-1...T#43
NR Minnesota...750-1...#48

http://www.vegasinsider.com/college-basketball/odds/futures/
Florida favored to win NCAA tourney at 9/2 - 03-10-2014

Interestingly, neither pool includes Nebraska...(assume at least 10,000-1 odds?)...a $100 bet covering a miraculous run would net somebody a coo $million.

Well Tim Miles would net $300,000 for winning a national championship. That's on top of the $150,000 for just getting into the tournament.

I badly want to put 50 bucks on UA. But I wouldn't mind tossing 20 on Wisconsin or Michigan either...
