Jay Bilas picked the B1G as the best conference in the country this morning on Gameday. 6 teams in the top 30 and 10 in the top 100 or some crazy stat he pulled.

Huge win for the Badgers today. They showed some intensity for once. If they can avoid the letdown against a Northwestern team we already crushed, they'll enter the fearsome six game schedule 5-3 in the B1G with some momentum. Even if they only split those six, they should win the last four. 12-6 in conference seems disappointing after the start to the year, but a 25-6 Badgers team is at worst heading to a 3 seed and could easily be a 2.

I think you guys should be heavily favored at home against an injured MSU team.. Unless Payne comes back..

Eh I could make an argument for iowa to still be ahead of you since you beat us at home and not in ic but its irrelevant really. Michigan with a hell of a week. Congrats!!

Agree regarding the rankings. It doesn't really matter. Only thing that matters is your seed and location in the NCAA Tournament. As of today Michigan would have a better seed based on their wins and standing in the B1G. Michigan at the moment is at worst a 3 seed and you can make a case for a 2 seed. Iowa is on the 4 line as of today.

Coming up we have Purdue and Nebraska at home with a road trip to Indiana sandwiched in between. Definitley cannot look past Indy next Sunday. If we can get those three it sets up a real big time matchup with Iowa in a couple weeks.

Another thought....last year the talk was will they or won't they with McGary and Robinson. Does that talk shift to Stauskas this offseason? The way that kid worked his ass off this offseason and improved is impressive.

not sure if i agree here. I would say it's about even

both lost @ iowa state
michigan lost to #1 and @ Duke. Winning at cameron wasn't gonna happen.
better losses than both wisky and 'nova (both teams have been somewhat exposed recently)

loss to charlotte makes it about even

i think stauskas bolts after this year. the fact that he has shown he is MUCH more than just a spot up shooter, and that he has sneaky-good athleticism...

If I'm Stauskas and I see that I'm a top 20 pick. I would bolt also.. Nothing wrong with that.. He has an amazing shot and his pretty lengthy.. All he needed was marginal athleticism and ball handling and he would develop 1st round talk..
