not sure if i agree here. I would say it's about even

both lost @ iowa state
michigan lost to #1 and @ Duke. Winning at cameron wasn't gonna happen.
better losses than both wisky and 'nova (both teams have been somewhat exposed recently)

loss to charlotte makes it about even

Wisconsin's been exposed but Iowa State hasn't? Our resume is identical, if not a little better. We both lost three in a row to relatively even opposition (Indy is weaker than Oklahoma, but Kansas/Michigan and Minnesota/Texas are both completely even). And we have the better overall wins.

GTFO of here with that crap.

Personally I think stauskas would be mental to even consider leaving after this season

Im old school dc, any home loss is a bad one imo even if it is to a great team. Out of the 8 losses iowa and michigan have I think michigan has the 2 worst with the charlotte loss and a home loss. Like I said it doesnt matter. Both teams are top 12 tomorrow imo

AH lacked energy today, but a good win regardless.

If were going by the saying "any win is a good win" then yes.

If were going by conventional wisdom or more importantly what's classified as a "good win" on a teams tournament profile...then no.

Sorry for being technical, im bored.

Just stressing a home win against Illinois is simply a win.

Bad loss for the Gophers. Nebraska has been formidable at home but this was still a win that they needed to get.

That Pettaway is a player though man literally hadn't heard of the guy before I saw his stats before the game which impressed me. Then he proceeded to put up 35 and impress me more.

I've watched the Corn play several times this year and they are definitely tough at home. Tim Miles has something cooking in Lincoln..

Eh we will have to agree to disagree man. A team that wants to be in the top 10-20 should consider any home loss a bad one regardless of who they are playing IMO. I full expect Iowa to be unbeaten at home this year and if they lose to anybody Ill chalk it up as a loss I wasnt expecting even if its to a top tier team. I guess you can let the Wolverines slide on the AZ game because it was right when they were trying to learn how to play without a full strength McGary or no McGary at all but a home loss still counts as at least 1.5 losses to me. Itd be different if UM wasnt a really good team but they are.

Thought the Gophers might have figured out how to play on the road since we beat PSU and a very underrated Richmond team and took MSU to OT. Frustrated this team hasn't been able too. Should have been a win for the Gophers yesterday. Oh well only need 5 more B1G wins to get to the magic number of 9 for an NCAA bid. And hell with as weak as the bubble is 8 and a B1G tourney win will probably get it done.

I vastly undersold Michigan once McGary went down. If Michigan continues to play like this, Beilein should be conference coach of the year. Kind of a similar note, heading into conference play I was kind of high on Illinois, and then they fall apart. They're so young, but I expected more from them, than what we're getting.

Might have beat a bad Purdue team on Saturday but the Badgers needed any win. Just something to build back a little bit of confidence. Going on the road and getting a win is huge in league, regardless of opponent.

Yeah I really wish they wouldn't have reverted to old form but it wasn't a completely understandable loss. Nebraksa has played many teams tough at home here in conference and even beat OSU.

If Andre was playing I would be really pissed off. Since he was out I'm more just disappointed they couldn't carry some huge momentum with a weaker stretch of games. Need him back soon though.

Michigan ranked 10th in the AP poll which is right where they should be.. Nowhere above or below.. Granted, polls don't mean much and it should all sort itself out by March..

I think its safe to say the B10 has 4 legit top 15 teams. Really I have no issue with those 4 teams being in ANY order in the top 15. Personally I have MSU 5th ( because I still think a full strength Sparty is the best team in the B10 and they have the best resume ), Id have Michigan 9th ( its close with UM and Iowa IMO, the Michigan win over Iowa is nice but its really just a home win so plays no great part. The road win over Wisky is much more important and outweighs the worse losses UM has ), I have Iowa 11th ( Hawks dont have a bad loss and have pretty much crushed everyone else theyve played this year, only 5 top 100 wins though so thats not great but a 20+ ppg marin is damn good ) and I have Wisky 14th ( Id have the Badgers higher because their resume is the 2nd best of the 4 B10 teams IMO but losing 3 of their last 4 plays into it ). Realsitically you could have these 4 teams in any order and as long as they are in the top 15 then Id be fine with it.

I'm fine with no permanent injuries...substantive minutes for benchers...and ignoring poll slides/rises for the next four weeks. and...

while it'd be just swell (although highly unlikely, imo) if my team goes on to cop a #1 seed?
to tell the truth, I don't really give a damn about that either. just...

as long as my team's got what I think it's got - and has it come the Dance...they'll be cutting net in Texas.

hope to see yall there too!
