Good on the Boilers for holding off a determined team of Nitts. (love watching Hammons play.)

Not to be nit picky here but Purdue definitely did not hold Penn State off.

Just one W there would be nice.

Got one....now how about two? What a sweet win personally living in Badgerland. Got to shut quite a few people up last night.

This team is young in age but has loads of game experience. I said it before the year and will stick with it...they will be right in the hunt until the end for the B1G title and be a Sweet Sixteen team.

Here are my Badger basketball thoughts thus far:

1. There are some possessions where Trae Jackson just decides, this is where I'm going to shoot need to stop. He's a talented player, but he's not the guy on this team who should be in that mode.

2. 10 points for Sam Dekker vs Michigan? Sam needs to be an assertive offensive player, he's not an elite defender, and him being passive at times on offense helps no one. He makes everyone better by dominating.

3. The defense has always been bad, Michigan and Indiana and most teams in the conference will dominate our defense. The offense has to regain some level efficiency.

The Big Ten is stacked, and this is Bo Ryan's best offensive team but far and away his worst defensive team. There's far more teams in the league that can take advantage of the defensive deficiencies than aren't able to take advantage of the defense.

Right now, my conference power rankings are:

1. Michigan State
2. Iowa
3. Michigan
4. Ohio State
5. Wisconisn
6. Minnesota
7. Purdue(not sold on AJ Hammons as a night out guy)
8. Indiana
9. Illinois
10. Northwestern
11. Nebraska
12. Penn State

Id have Wisky 3rd still then Michigan and OSU, the rest would be the same although I MAY have NW ahead of Illinois and Indiana in a few weeks.

I would have Wisky over OSU for sure. I think Michigan is better though, now that they have figured things out.

Welcome to the War, Huskers!!!

"They shout and curse, stabbing wildly, more brawlers than warriors. They make a wondrous mess of things. Brave amateurs....they do their part."

Major grats to Nebraska. :suds:

Wildest B1G cbb season in memory.
(s'gotta be driving the 'know-it-all' pundit kings nuts)
What fun!

A couple of thoughts. Maybe Dan Jakich will stop sleeping in his OSU, Aaron Craft pajamma set. Is it now customary to rush the court everytime you beat a favored opponent? OSU was skidding into the ditch before they played Nebraska. Caught a little chuckle Sunday when one of the fade out songs in the Denver/NE was the Counting Crows Omaha.

It's Nebraska, they're allowed to rush the floor if they come close to beating a ranked team at home.

I think they rushed the floor because this is the first really big milestone win of the Tim Miles era. As another posted noted this is going to be a crazy rest of the conference season.

I'd like to amend my power rankings and put us(Wisconisn) ahead of Ohio State.

Yes. It was Tim Miles' 1st win over a ranked team AND Nebraska's 1st win over a ranked team in their brand new arena.

I think the celebration was warranted.

it's a crisp 5° in East Lansing right now...
anybody think the Breslin won't be jammed to the gills with screaming Izzies?
This will be MSU's 4th Payne-less game in a row...
I hope it's our last.

good luck Hoosiers.
