They have struggled the past couple of games defending the high pick and roll. Mathieu and Dre Hollins could have a huge game, if that continues. I'm not sure EE will be much of a factor tonight. Hate his match up defensively against Kaminsky, who likes to pick and pop for 3 and EE doesn't have the foot speed to match up. The good thing is that Wisconsin doesn't have much length outside of Kaminsky, so rebounding shouldn't be much of an issue defensively. It's going to be high scoring. I just hope Wisconsin misses some of their 3's, I have a feeling they are going to take a lot.
Yeah that's the thing I think the Badgers are due to go off but from a match up standpoint as you said Mathieu and Dre could have field days. If Badgers didn't learn from Yogi I can't see them stopping Deandre. Wisco also struggles against pressure and don't handle the ball well so if Gophs press that's another plus.
Free throws could be huge. Gophs are one of the best in the Big10 at making freebies but also allow a lot too. Badgers FT shooting is inconsistent but if they make them it will be tough for gophs to overcome.
