Michigan won't get it easily at all. Right now they are projected to go 19-11 with an RPI of 55 and an SOS of 48 heading into the B1G tournament. Michigan is going to be squarely on the bubble IMO. Right now they are probably a 10/11.
Yeah that home loss to IU might bite them in the butt. Theyre going to need to win one they aren't supposed to I think

Wisconsin isn't good. They have losses to WIU, Milwaukee, NW, and Georgetown among others. Wisconsin is 10-9 for a reason. Also, maybe the reason why wisconsin isn't shooting good is because they don't have good talent. This tells me this was probably more of a fluke than anything else.

Wisconsin has improved. It may have been possible that the new team starting out took a bit to get a feel for each other. I would not classify WI as a bad team at this time with the improved play they have been putting on the court

Northwestern is putting a beat down on Minny, up by 24! How hot is Pitino's seat? It's one thing to have a rebuilding season, but going winless in conference is ridiculous.

The real question is; When Minnesota, plays Rutgers is it possible for both teams to lose??

At least Rutgers has had a boat load of injuries. I have no idea what is going on with Minnesota

Bad players and coaching. I can still see Pitino getting two more years though. There is a pretty good influx of talent coming in next year with transfers and freshman. We'll see what happens next year.

Unless next year goes like this I'm guessing he'll get at least two more after this season. The roster he's assembled isn't very good. There's like three P5 kids in terms of talent on this roster. Rest should be playing for mid majors.

MSU @ scUM...SA.2pm.CBS...interesting tidbit, DEPT...

MSU coach Tom Izzo has never lost at U-M and made the Final Four in the same season. And of his eight wins at Michigan’s Crisler Center, seven of them came during his Final Four seasons – 1999, 2000, 2001, 2005, 2009, 2010 and 2015.

He has won once at U-M and not reached the Final Four, in 2004, with a team that lost in the first round of the NCAA tournament.

His 10 losses at U-M have been followed by two NIT bids (1996 and 1997), two first-round NCAA losses (2006, 2011), a second-round loss (2007), three Sweet Sixteen advances (1998, 2012, 2013) and two Elite Eights (2003, 2014).

So while it all may be a coincidence, history says an Izzo team that wins at U-M gets to the Final Four 87.5% of the time (and those teams have six of his seven Big Ten titles and a 31-7 NCAA record).

Did I just turn on the Maryland Purdue game and here Jockitch calling Indiana the best team in the Big10.

Unfuckingbelievable. If that's what I he was actually saying, I'm pissed off.

No offense to Hoosier fans. Got a good squad. But that's just stupid.

A few weeks ago it was MSU, then it was Maryland, now apparently it's Indiana. Eventually he will make his way to the right team

Yeah I heard it mid conversation. And I hear the play by play guy go "well Iowa has 4 wins in the index, Indiana had 0".

And dipshit goes something like "yeah people like to use their stats, rankings and data but that's not me. I see things other people don't just by watching". What a fucking moron. Can I get a job?

Iowas gotta be the correct answer at this point. But I'd forgive Someone saying MSU or Maryland who've been top 10ish all year. But Indiana?

MARYLAND is the most talented team in the Big 10.
They might be the best in a lot of ways.

But, they are the least integrated and least experienced playing together at times of the top teams. Despite all the talent, they do have about 3 or 4 guys learning to play together still. At times, they tend to stand around and not flow quite as well as other teams.

Melo Trimble often has to just play hero ball as MD has some brain-lock.
If the TERPS ever get it fully together, they are the best team. It is not even close.

They have maybe 4 NBA players in their starting five.

Maryland is good. They just can't shoot. Solid team but I can't see them making a deep run because they just don't have the shooters. If they hit a stretch where Sulimon and Trimble are shooting it well at the same time they can maybe prove me wrong but I've seen them 10ish times this year and haven't seen it yet.

Michigan was a disgrace today. I really want a more up to par coach at this point.

Mixhigan has really overachiever for a big part of the year. I still think they are a good team but they're coming back to Earth a bit. Probably more in line with the 10-8/11-7 type B10 team they are. Hopefully they can still make the dance.
