The biggest worry will be that after FSU beats awwbun, their fans will be outnumbered by a buncha drunk, mad barners. Let that sink in for just a second.

IMO, there will be enough of both and a whole bunch more who have no ties to the teams other than bets or just wanting to be at the game. Really see no advantage on this one.

I would say back away, turning around leaves you way too vulnerable.

Thoughts on auburn, sec & playoffs

auburn was terrible last year. they didnt win a single SEC game last year. while decent this year lets not forget that they had to pull two wins completely out of their ass to win their division & beat mizz. now we all know that tebow is gods favorite football player but if this season has proved anything his favorite team is auburn.

I think that the strength of a team varies over the course of a season and what it really comes down to is who in the top 5 is peaking at the most convenient time.

I think because the SEC is the SEC they get the benefit of the doubt more often than not and get one of their teams into the BCS CCG.

Because with the SEC everyone gets that benefit of a doubt (13/14 sec teams have been ranked at some point in the past 2 seasons) and it becomes a numbers game and odds are that someone will make a run.

it will not surprise me one bit if MSU were to play both these teams (auburn/fsu) tomorrow they would crush the winner and get crushed by the loser. because every game anyone can win and theres simply no way in CFBs conference dodging 13 games a year setup can we accurately find 1) the best 2 teams 2) a sos 3) accurately order the teams by rank.

since we cant do that we might as well do the next big thing which is a playoff > 4 teams

let every team have a fair shot to use their peak performance and get a shot. and eliminate some teams getting the benefit of a doubt

Auburn has been pulling in highly ranked recruiting classes for years. It's not a shock at all that they are much improved this year. They've exceeded expectations, but it's not like Malzahn inherited a horrible team.
