We should all be in the middle somewhere, but nobody ever is. People either want to bitch or praise.

Maybe I'm just weird, but I'm in wait-and-see mode. If I get too excited I know I'm just pumping myself full of sunshine and rainbows.

Me too, but sometimes it's fun to rock the boat just a little. Fact is, nobody knows what is gonna happen.

I liked it when it was announced and I took the time to see who he was. Got to admit he brought a couple of guys with him I would of preferred he didn't but I can't say he doesn't know what he's doing yet.

I would of preferred he pick a name rather than Banker but I think we are eons ahead with him then we were with Papuchis/Pelini.

I like the OC and the strength coach even though he was only an assistant at USC. Hell you can just look at him and know that he is going to have an energetic program.

Bottom line what I have wanted for the last two years and thought that Eichorst didn't have the balls to do is done. I am not going to condemn him for having the balls to go out on a limb instead of buying a name that will be gone in 3 years.

I don't know if he will deliver but I am excited about this program for the first time in years. And though I was one of the loudest to argue against the negative nancies I am not going to do that for the whole off season. We all know where everyone stands and the only thing that will change anyones mind is the product on the field so why argue.

Probably because he didn't have a lot of NFL experience prior to that. He was only with the Saints for 2 years, and that was his only previous NFL job. He was an OC in college for 8 years, though.

I asked why he's never been an OC anywhere other than Oregon St.?

Certainly a high quality OC with 8 years experience would have been stolen from Oregon St by someone to be an OC or even a head coach.

The Giants certainly didn't deem him OC worthy.

LOL, I don't wait around for you to post.

But Oaks pretty much answered the question well enough.

He didn't answer anything.

He told us what we already know. He was OC for Oregon St for 8 years.

After all that time, why wasn't he ever offered a better paying OC job? Why was he just a position coach for the Giants? They didn't deem him OC worthy either?

Curious to see how R_A spins this into another "hiring your buddies" rant.

I was in wait and see mode until I got trolled by Tom who's butthurt that Pelini got fired.
If he wants to call me out then I'll play. I'm coming out with hard questions tho.

Wut evs. Too hard to post long cognitive responses on a tablet. You go on living in your own little world where everyone gets jobs because they are buddies and not because they are more than qualified.

And show me one single post where I have complained about Pelini getting fired.

You spent the last 2 years telling anybody even critical of Pelini/Papuchis/Beck/Dobson that they didn't have the expertise to be judgmental. That you knew because you did have the expertise.

Well he got run outta town, and you look like a damn fool.

One post where I have been anything but supportive of the firing of Bo Pelini, please.

Show me one, only one and I will never log into the hoop again. Ever.

You have no choice but to agree now. Otherwise you'd look even more a fool.

You jumped on the "he needed to go" bandwagon ONLY after he was fired.

Nope. Posts beginning around the time of the Wisconsin game. Players quit on him. It was time to go. Iowa game. He looks like he doesn't want to be there. It was time to go. Don't remember the game between. Minnesota? Don't remember much of that game.

We're always bumping heads, but I'd still have a beer with RA. He's got a great sense of humor sometimes. I bet he makes me laugh more than anyone on here. He's probably a nice guy too.

lol I know, we have good birds on here.It took me a couple years to GET IT that not everyone will share my opinions (GOD GIVEN INSIGHT) on things. I hated Jed for those years lol. Now I would probably stick up for the mouthy bastard if need be.
