I'll make the bad joke.
I sure hope BRS didn't lose his job
He didn't work on the football side of things
I still see the guy I was convinced was BRS all the time

Coughlin was reportedly not happy about Langsdorf leaving, statistically Eli had one of his best years with DL as his QB coach. I'm pretty happy with this hire
I have been screaming for TE play for years. We haven't had a good TE since Pierce Nebraska native Matt Heroin.
Curious to see how R_A spins this into another "hiring your buddies" rant.
The Gilbride family has a history of autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease. Kevin Gilbride's father died from it in 1972 at the age of 45, and he has a brother and sister who needed transplants. Those were more routine, Gilbride said, but Laurie required some special genetic needs from her donor.
Langsdorf was coaching at Oregon State at the time of the donation and was good friends with another coach on staff, Mike Cavanaugh. That was Laurie's husband.

LOL THAT was fucking dumb.
To spin something, one has to reach a little. There's no need to even reach here.
Scott Frost. LMAO!!!!!
Riley's best years at State were with DL as OC. You Husker boys are going to see a increase in your TE production for sure.
Point is... Riley/Langendorf are masters at isolation plays on specific defenses. With Braska talent and depth it will be interesting to see the results. One other thing to expect from these two guys are screen passes to counter pressure defenses...none better than these two guys. They were the best in PAC when it came to screen passes. They had to be, States O-lines were typically weak and vulnerable to pressure from stronger defenses.
Congrats on your new OC.

One play comes to mind...
QB rollout right, TE drag left...throwback left to a wide open TE one on one with a pursuing LB to beat.... with the receivers on the left side clearing out the left zone for the TE.
Of course this play depends on the defense read of man to man.

Thanks for the insight Wally.
I'm more concerned with Banker. We don't need another Cosgrove.
Bill Callahan came in here with a flash offense that could do all the things you described, but his buddy Cosgrove he brought along to oversee the defense couldn't coach his way out of a paper bag.
