Any of y'all see that Oregon plane that landed at the Lincoln airport a few hours ago?

It's makin people think frost is here, but why would Oregon use their plane to send their assistant to interview for another job

I like how you folks pretend like Eugene and Lincoln aren't big enough cities to where maybe random people are just flying to and from.....

So he promises to resurrect the walk on program of yester year and then when he gets here blows it off.

Yeah that's a good idea.

Why don't you admit it. You are not willing to give this guy a chan ce and you are going to bad mouth him at every turn.

I have absoutely no problem if someone doesn't like the hire and says so but to just make shit up is fucking bullshit.

I'm done with all of you. I just hope to God you don't create a self fulfilling prophesy by running off any talent he may of been able to bring here, player and staff wise.

So, if Riley doesn't succeed here, you're setting everything up to blame the fans? Nice!

In tom's defense, your satirical argument had about as much factual backing as most of the Riley haters on here.

I never said I hate Riley. I don't hate Eichorst either. I just have high expectations of Riley, and every other Nebraska fan should too.

I wonder if Epley is going to be the S&C coach of the football team like he should be.

Game By Game Stats
You have the rights stats, just need to take it one step further. Here is what I was after, the average yards and points of the opponents. thus, at least in 2014 the defense was slightly above average on yards (a lower number is "above" average), but below average on points allowed.

Oregon St (5-7) (2014)

Average Yards Allowed: 406.3
Average Points Allowed: 31.6

Opponents Average Yards of Offense: 436.4
Opponents Average Points per game: 30.8

I was going to do 2013, but I can't figure out where on that website you got the info you did, unless of course you went game by game, I'm too lazy to do that.

OC - ?
DC - Mark Banker/OSU - UNCONFIRMED
OL - Mike Cavanaugh/OSU - semi-confirmed by his son's tweet
RB - ?
WR/RC - Brent Brennan/OSU
DL - ?
LB - Trent Bray/OSU
DB - ?
ST - Bruce Read/OSU - UNCONFIRMED

Still this as of this morning. I haven't seen anything new other than Cavanaugh is sort of confirmed.

sure would be nice to know with only a week until the recruiting dead week. Kinda surprised he isn't getting this settled before getting out on the road to meet recruits. I'd be calling the recruits, while i'm calling the assistants I want to hire.

My guess would be that Warren stays as DB, Kaz at DL and Brown at RB. They're the only ones I would keep anyway.

Banker as DC still has me scratching my head. Regardless of Riley's downward trend overall record-wise, Banker's results as a DC speaks for itself - it's pretty bad. I hope the Banker rumor is false and that we're bringing in someone better.

No clue on the OC at this point but it better be good.

As I said before, I'm grudgingly positive about this hire but I wanted better assistants - that's to me what would make this a solid plan for replacing mad dog and his staff.

The more I think about it the less likely that Frost is or ever was an option.
