4-star CB Joey Porter Jr out of Pennsylvania has decided to remain in-state and has committed to Penn State.
Joey Porter Jr., North Allegheny, Cornerback
This is the first time I can remember in the recruiting era where it was between Michigan and Alabama and we won. I'm really liking this class so far (assuming we keep everyone). The star talent is pretty evenly spread out by position, unlike previous years. A couple four star RBs, a four star QB, four star WR, a four star tackle and guard and then we have crazy talent on the d-line. I'd like to see an elite LB in the class, which is about the only thing missing at this point. Certainly just a balanced class all around.![]()
This is a big get for Michigan.
5-star S Daxton Hill (#1 ranked safety in the nation for the 2019 class) out of Oklahoma has committed to Michigan.
Daxton Hill, Booker T. Washington, Safety

Michigan could land recruiting classes like Ohio State and Georgia if they weren't so bad on offense and/or used more bagmen.Good get for you guys. He never really cared for Oklahoma State even though his brother is a star there. And no way he was going to play against him at Oklahoma so he decided early on to go out of State. Really thought he was head to Alabama though.
Also rumors that Nolan Smith is about to decommit from UGA over the racist incident this weekend. Dont know how much is true but thats what I have heard. This is a big one. Georgia loses the commitment of #3 overall prospect Jadon Haselwood. The 5* WR is now being inexplicably mocked to Miami, a program that hasn't produced a high end WR in 15 years.
Oh wow, what a really stupid incident. I mean, it's an ex-baseball player and not someone on the team, so decommiting from a school over it seems pretty weak, but I'm OK if that's what it takes. Also rumors that Nolan Smith is about to decommit from UGA over the racist incident this weekend.
