This is a big get for Michigan.

5-star S Daxton Hill (#1 ranked safety in the nation for the 2019 class) out of Oklahoma has committed to Michigan.

Daxton Hill, Booker T. Washington, Safety

This is the first time I can remember in the recruiting era where it was between Michigan and Alabama and we won. I'm really liking this class so far (assuming we keep everyone). The star talent is pretty evenly spread out by position, unlike previous years. A couple four star RBs, a four star QB, four star WR, a four star tackle and guard and then we have crazy talent on the d-line. I'd like to see an elite LB in the class, which is about the only thing missing at this point. Certainly just a balanced class all around.

Good get for you guys. He never really cared for Oklahoma State even though his brother is a star there. And no way he was going to play against him at Oklahoma so he decided early on to go out of State. Really thought he was head to Alabama though.

Michigan could land recruiting classes like Ohio State and Georgia if they weren't so bad on offense and/or used more bagmen.

4 star Safety Tyler Owens commits to Texas. One of the best athletes in the class. Late riser with some huge differences between services. 247 has him as a top 100 player. #5 safety in the country (#2 in Texas) and 14th best in Texas

Trey Knox becomes our third 4-star WR of the class. We moved up to #14 on Rivals so I think I'm gonna cherry pick them this cycle :thumb:

This is a big one. Georgia loses the commitment of #3 overall prospect Jadon Haselwood. The 5* WR is now being inexplicably mocked to Miami, a program that hasn't produced a high end WR in 15 years.

Also rumors that Nolan Smith is about to decommit from UGA over the racist incident this weekend. Dont know how much is true but thats what I have heard.

Oh wow, what a really stupid incident. I mean, it's an ex-baseball player and not someone on the team, so decommiting from a school over it seems pretty weak, but I'm OK if that's what it takes.
