Bone bruise is different than a regular bruise though. I've had one on my shin, and it fucking hurts. I've been calling Dansby a pussy thinking he just had a little bruise, and now I feel bad.

Same thing, but on the foot/ankle it's tough to heal and difficult for there to not be pain when you're job literally relies on you abusing your feet like say playing sports

I’m not a doctor so could be completely wrong, but you can still have a bone contusion.
