I like ‘em as a road throwback. Only one I prefer more are the baby blues wore for most of the 80s.

Now, I DO NOT like the fat, lower case ‘a’ as the standard. I like the regular, capital ‘A’ more. I don’t mind the throwbacks on occasion, but never hope to see it as primary.

Looks like the Braves read the posts on here the past week, thought long and hard about what they were doing, and woke their offense back up these last two games.

And the bonus is the Dodgers keep pounding the Nats to get that division lead back up. When that Nats/Braves series coming up and we can breath easy for awhile again

one thing that gives me comfort is knowing that the Nationals are only 6 games above .500 and are closer to the Phillies in the standings than they are to the Braves

Yeah, but they've been really hot over the last month and half to two months. When our offense started sputtering post all star break, I've been getting a little worried they could catch us.

and their schedule during their hot streak was paper soft. kudos to them for taking advantage of it, but i still think the Braves are going to have to choke to lose the division. it could happen, but that's on us, not on on them. i'm happy with that

I expected to lose this one. Aaron Nola usually brings his A game against us, and much like deGrom, we never miss him in a series.

Winning the first two games of this series was huge. Sweeps are great, but as long as we're winning the series, I won't bitch too much.

Also, Phillies got some momentum offensively in the later innings last night.
