A little too interesting in the 9th, but it all worked out, and a first pitch error isn't easy for a closer in a one run game.

Can't really blame him for making us pucker up in this one. Should have had a first pitch out, but Freddie made a very rare error, and then he got squeezed a couple pitches against the second batter. Was lights out after McCann calmed him down.

That's one thing about McCann that I seriously underestimated when we signed him. I was wrong, he wasn't just a nostalgia signing, he was a damn good signing, and he's already earned his salary.

I've had a couple neighbor complaints here lately. Went from having no neighbors in view from the place I was renting to having a fairly uptight couple directly across the road. But I own instead of rent now, so I guess it's worth it.

I hear ya. I moved out to the country on a 7 acre lot and a new single wide (16X80) 24 years ago, then my wife got pregnant and wanted to move into a house. I'm still in the country, but only have 1 acre and 4 neighbors, all on about an acre themselves. Everyone's pretty cool until they start shooting that tannerite shit. Holy bajeebus, that will scare the shit out of you if you aren't expecting it.

I would love to see his numbers this year with Flowers vs With McCann. McCann was an excellent signing for our young guys because they needed someone to put his foot up their ass and Flowers/Snit sure as hell won’t do it.
