I guess it's hard to complain after an 8 game win streak, but it fucking sucks that it had to end that way. 2 big errors, and then the offense not getting anything off of a terrible bullpen.

Really, I just want a well pitched game. We haven't had one since the 1-0 win in Miami.

I mean, I'd try Tomlin at closer before keeping Luke Jackson there. At least Tomlin can field his position. Jackson wouldn't be a terrible middle reliever, but after a good run at closer, he's starting to put off Jim Johnson and Bob Wickman vibes.

Agreed. We have squeezed more good out of him than I thought was possible. Middle relief...setup man, maybe...if he gets back anywhere near the effective reliever he was a month ago.

I believe the Braves will use some of their chips as we near the middle of July. Need a couple good rentals on the back end of BP.

They are good enough (at this point), to use some of that trade capital they have been hoarding for a couple years. This Braves team could absolutely make a deep run in Oct.
