Who exactly on this team that's a difference maker is an AA piece?

Luke Jackson can't get an out before allowing 4 runs.

It's just one game, but it's clear Snit hasn't learned a God damn thing and he's too old to learn.

Had Wes Parsons started the 6th inning, there's a good chance we win this game. Was lights out all spring, and was lights out in AAA last year. At the very least, I'd be willing to bet he doesn't walk two.

Surely to God Luke Jackson wouldn't be brought in with the score tied.

I definitely don't agree with it, but I understand why they still haven't given up on Luke Jackson. His stuff is good, he just has no idea how to use it. Every now and then he'll put it together for one appearance and be unhittable and make you wonder what the hell that was and where the hell has it been. He was even a top 50 prospect in 2014.

But with that said, he ain't a kid anymore, and if he hasn't put it together yet, he probably never will. You can't teach mental makeup. His problem isn't mechanical, but I'm guessing they're hoping the new pitching coach can do something with him.

I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and say he probably isn't on the roster if Minter and O'Day were healthy, but I'm not very confident that's actually the case.

That should been Wes Parsons' inning from the get go.

17:1 K:BB ratio and 0 earned runs allowed all spring. That should at least give him a shot.

i'm not quick to call for the heads of players, but Luke Jackson needs to go. Sam Freeman isn't good, but he is still significantly better than Jackson is. They left Freeman go and kept Jackson. Thankfully Jackson will be gone once Folty, Goose, Minter and O'Day return from the IL.

Today's result is just one game, but it makes the news that the Braves are holding their dick about Kimbrel infuriating. The bullpen has issues (i know Snit makes questionable decisions, but Jackson doesn't have a place on a ML roster yet here he is on opening day), signing Kimbrel would be a major boost.

It's 1 game. Everybody breathe. Every other team will lose games. That being said, I don't understand how Luke Jackson can be used in any sort of a close game situation. I understand he's only here because of injuries but you have other options in the pen. Let Parson work the 6th. Let Sobotka work the 7th and see where you are from there. But there was no reason to see Carle and Jackson in a close game.

Here's a scenario for y'all, say its the end of June and we're in the hunt but second/third in the division...Ender has struggled, Pache continues raking like he did in ST, do you trade Ender and call Pache up? And if so do you go after bullpen help (assuming we don't land Kimbrel) or a bench piece or SP? Perhaps a package deal with Tehran

Personally, I trade him and give Pache a shot. I'd probably try to after a solid bench piece or 4th OF and a prospect or 2
