This is the perfect season for setting that team culture. They're losing anyway, so bench, suspend, discipline whoever deserves it without damaging team goals. Great for building a winning program.
So 2 football players are now on the tourney team. Did we also mail in our BBall resignation into the B10 headquarters to no longer be an embarrassment to the conference?
Have Hoiberg stay on to coach intramurals, brother.
I would rather have two football players on the team that want to be there and contribute to the team then two players who are supposed basketball players at the division 1 level in college and don't appreciate what they have in front of them
Hoiberg left the bench before the end of the game and was transpired to the hospital. Diagnosed with influenza A. The team was kept in the locker room after the game for a time.
After Hoiberg left Doc Sadler put both Vedral and Banks in the game. The Indiana fans and Husker fans were all cheering for these guys to get a bucket. This is how the game ended, with smiles on faces. That doesn't get to happen so often in a blowout loss, so I really enjoyed that.
The freshman Cross looked really good. What a weapon to have down the road for Coach Hoiberg. Really thought Haanif Cheatham played hard/well, wish he had some more eligibility left.
Feel really happy for the guys that Coach tested positive for flu, because the entire traveling Husker squad was quarantined in the locker room while he was getting checked out (post game). Got to the point where they brought them food and left it on the floor outside the locker room doors.
