This loss sucks for sure, and Biddle was due a bad outing.

But at the end of the day, you really can't complain about pitching when the offense can only put 2 runs on the board. We had a lot of missed opportunities tonight. We couldn't build on the lead. And we lost.

We've got Newk going tomorrow. Snit had better have Ender in center, Camargo at short and Culberson at third tomorrow. It's a huge game that we really need to win.

Well the good new is if we win tommorow we get 4 with the Marlins who are probably the worst team in baseball since the trade deadline.

True. Also if what Luke Jackson has been doing the last two weeks is real, we might have picked up a good reliever without having to make any sort of move.

I'd call up either Michael Reed or Lane Adams. Whoever it is won't be seeing any real time in the field, I just want a PH option that isn't Ryan Flaherty. Lane Adams was a good bench bat for us, and Michael Reed is hitting the ball too well in AAA to really keep him there.

And it should be noted, and I'm not real sure why, I really like Lane Adams and I don't think we should have let him go to begin with. If nothing else, he's one of the fastest guys in the organization, and if you have value as a pinch runner, you're more valuable than Ryan Flaherty.

I think I'm gonna wind up really hating this Duvall trade. Duvall is useless. If you wanna give Ender the day off vs lefties, move Acuna to center and let Charlie play left.

Touki will start the afternoon game tomorrow. That's what I figured would happen since they can option him after the first game and bring somebody up for the second, but I was hoping he'd start the night cap so I could watch instead of listen. We've had good luck with pitchers making their MLB debut this year.
