I don't think it was his choice to leave. If it was, then, yeah, bitch move. With the way he was dealing before that, 3 runs might have been enough to win.

Today was about as big of a bad luck game that I can remember. Sanchez only getting us two innings after he was dealing.

And the Nats made several great defensive plays that killed scoring chances. There were at least 3 line drives caught by infielders, Eaton threw Freddie out at the plate and robbed Dansby of what was probably gonna be a 2 run double in the 9th. Suzuki robbed of an RBI double too.

At the end of the day, a split in this series isn't that bad. I think we all said we'd take a split before the series started. But this one felt like a gut punch.

I knew we lost the game as soon as Parsons was put in, but give him credit, he gave us 5 innings and kept the game from being a complete disaster from a bullpen standpoint.

Sanchez only gave us two, but we didn't use any of the regulars out of the pen. And I think that McCreary guy has potential. They said his stuff was good. I'd give him another shot.

If Snit will stick with Camargo at short and Culberson at third, and bat Camargo 5th, I like our offense's chances.

Today sucked for sure, but the team has been playing better lately.

I hate to say it, but I think the Phillies just clinched the division today. They got Justin Bour from the Marlins. They've got Bour and Herrera in the lineup now. Both own us.

But on the flip side, I feel a lot better about next week's series against the Marlins now even with two spot starters probably going.
