I already had this game chalked up as a loss before it started. Offense actually did better than I thought they would. We had some chances tonight. A bit of bad luck on the Ender lineout. That would have brought Dansby up with either the bases loaded or runners at first and second with one out and a run in, and he usually comes through in those spots, and he got a leadoff hit the next inning.

But we had Freddie up representing the tying run in the 8th inning. Considering the circumstances, that's all we could have asked for.

But this is 3 out of 4 bad starts from Folty(4 straight if you go by just numbers, but he was a lot better against Toronto than the numbers show, and 4 of those runs should have been unearned).

Tonight is our best chance of winning. We've hit Alex Wood hard everytime we've faced him and Fried has been lights out in his rehab starts.

We cant keep every one of our Minor League Pitchers I think the ones we dont want to keep should be package in a deal for deGrom. Toussaint,Wright, and Anderson should be off limits and every other pitcher should be up for grabs.

I agree if they want to rebuild quicker that they should sell hard which means getting rid of deGrom and Syndergaard for high level prospects. Kinda funny if they don’t because it’s just going to take a lot longer to rebuild and will suck longer.
