We scored 10 runs in 1.2 innings of relief off of him, but against everyone else he's only allowed 3 runs in 37 innings.

There's no call for it. I can see a starter or two having a bad trip, but Sanchez is the only starter that even bothered to show up, and he's making the MLB veteran minimum.

If we can't count on Newcomb when we need a win, I'm pretty well over him.

Phillips ain't fooling anyone either.

This whole team needs to take a long hard look at themselves tomorrow during the offday.

Their starting pitching has really let them down this road trip, the bullpen has sucked all year and the offense just shows up every now and then and the whole team is allergic to the big hit.

Snit should get a lot of the blame for it too. He had real reasons to get himself tossed to fire up the team both in the last game in New York and the first game in Milwaukee and he didn't do it.

This is unacceptable. We've saw enough of this shit the last 4 years.

And if our farm system ever gets in such a bad shape that we have to ever rebuild again, whatever GM is responsible needs to be dragged behind a horse for a spell.

Honestly if this is what the team really is and it's gonna be a miserable second half, I wish we wouldn't have had such a good first month and a half of the season. Between the Falcons and Georgia, I've had about enough of getting my hopes up only to have them crushed in humiliating fashion.

I guess all the hype around Evan Phillips was just hype. But we got to see him and that's all I wanted.
