A platoon might work..342 ABs against RH pitching he hit 24 bombs, .556 slugging and a .893 OPS.
At this point, it looks like Duvall. Obviously, things could change before/after spring training. In theory, the Braves still have some payroll flexibility. If Kimbrel's price falls, that is a possibility (I don't love that option unless it is a 3-4 year deal). And who would be platoon with? Markakis, who is another left handed hitter.

The Braves still have a ton of trade capital as well. Enough to get virtually any deal done.
AA is limited by what ownership wants to do payroll-wise. He was able to wheel and deal in Toronto because ownership allowed it.
People forget that GM's don't have carte blanche to do whatever they want.
I wake up every morning hoping that when I get up and check Twitter that the Liberty Media CEO was caught on film saying something racist and was forced to sell the team. Ted Turner is too old now, but man it would be nice to have an owner that doesn't see us as just a spreadsheet.
I wish Arthur Blank would buy the team.

I'd assume most of it was from defense, but maybe we've been too hard on Dansby?
that was a 70 win team that overachieved by winning 80 games
the Phillies weren't a good team last year
True, but most would say that Dansby was our worst position player last season(Tyler Flowers for me, he split time with Suzuki), and still provided more value than any position player on the Phillies.
salty retired yesterday..lol
At this point I'm just hoping they don't get both Harper and MachadoHope that Harper to the Phillies thing ain't true.
Dansby has improved defensively a lot thanks to Washington. His wrist has been injured and its difficult to hit with a limp wrist. Maybe with that fully healed now, his bat will turn a corner too.I'd assume most of it was from defense, but maybe we've been too hard on Dansby?
The whole division was weak last year, hence why we won it. Yes we are a good team, but it was by far the weakest division in baseballthat was a 70 win team that overachieved by winning 80 games
