I hear what you are stating Turnup but at some point, the salaries are so far inflated not even remotely reflecting the worth of the services provided by the player. I think we are at that point right now.

This doesn't really matter. Per the CBA, they get X percentage of that revenue so it has to be paid out. The league itself is raking in cash and are set to get even more in the coming years. The players are entitled to their share of it because they're the attraction. Truthfully, they're worth more than what they're getting but that's for Michelle Roberts to sort out. So fans might not think the 12th man sitting on the bench is worth a couple million dollars but that doesn't matter. Same for Dragic. 16 mil a year (once the cap goes up) for a quality starter that could flirt with an all start team is a reasonable number. The revenue streams and thus the salary cap set the market. It's business. That's what pro sports is.

If the Lakers want to give wade 15-20 mill yearly for a guy who struggles to play 60 games yearly? Go right ahead

Who said the Lakers are interested in Wade? Especially at that price.

Miami offered him 12 million yearly and he rejected it. Safe to assume he's looking for 15-20 million yearly

Okay. So who said the Lakers had any interest in Wade at any price?

It just became news this afternoon that there is mutual interest between the 2

Maybe they like the idea of someone posted of Wade playing the even numbered games and Kobe playing the odd numbered games?

I wouldn't hate them getting Wade, but I wouldn't want him at that price.

Probably being thrown out there by Wade's agent to put pressure on the Heat anyway.

I have heard little talk about Gerald Green so far. Any suns fans have any dish on the local chatter?

If the Cavs re-sign all their big guys... they'll have little to work with. Basically just a MLE worth around $5 mill. That seems to be right around the price range for Green... and I would LOVE that signing if it happened.

He is probably #1 on my list for players the Cavs should go after with that MLE.

Great news for Miami, IMO...

Stanley:
I love winning. To have guys like Dwyane Wade, Luol Deng and Hassan Whiteside on the team and be on a team that already knows they want to win next season - bringing my contribution to that team would be great.

After he got thrown under the bus for playing no defense, I doubt he goes back to the Suns.

Can't remember who said what, might have been the Coach or GM, but I remember Green not being to happy about the DnP's.
