Well truth comes out about Jordan and the Clippers. He was sick of Chris Paul.

"He was tired of Paul's constant barking and petty gestures, like distributing high-fives to the three other guys on the floor following a timeout but somehow freezing out Jordan. Optics aside, the biggest issue for Jordan was that, despite the leaps and bounds he made to be named first team all-defense, the Clippers always treated him like the player he was when"

You're a moron if you are just using last season as your reasoning.

I agree we shouldn't be viewed as title contenders, but you can make very reasonable discussion for top 4 in the East.

Then, its just a matter of who is healthy and rolling when the playoffs come around.

And, as far as 15-1 records and all of that other stuff, it means ZIP as far as what's going to happen when it matters.
I cringed during the Heats 28 game winning streak, a year we did NOT win the title.
I knew what the Hawks were doing last year was most likely fools gold.

How about UNTIL Love and Kyrie can PROVE that they can make it through a 100 game season they are no more then a pair of players who need to buy a lot of suits?

75 games is damn good with no depth behind them. The Cavs had no depth last year, especially with the injuries , all they need is a couple guys to take the load off the stars. They have a nice start with Mo.
Top 4 in the East isnt saying much. It really doesnt matter, if you cant compete with the West it does no good. The Cavs proved they can late in the regular season. They took the best team out West to 6 without 3 of their starters, they proved a lot in that series. And depth is the only issue.

The more depth Cleveland gets, the more Heat fans worry :laugh3:

Cavs fans are like Oh nooooooooo Deja vu with Mo Williams. LBJ wanted him last time. That didn't work out and both are now older. I don't see this ending well.

Yep, depth never works out. I dont see your logic. Mo Williams looks just fine, he had his best stretch of his career last year and he has played with Lebron. So it's a win-win.

I'll bet you right now that the Heats season extends longer then the Bucks...

What's the bet?

For the Heat to really make the jump to the next level, Wade needs to not feel the need to play PG very often when Dragic is on the court.

THAT killed us is many of the games we blew late in the season.

hell, I'M down for this bet...and i'm not even a Heat fan...

75 isn't saying much if you need to play 100...

And, no Heat fan is looking for any title this year. Totally unrealistic.

The goal is to be back on the path to getting to that level and then hopefully make the big move which puts you in the discussion.

On the other hand, you guys are 'all in, forever' right now and with what the Spurs are doing, with what the Warriors already have, plus factoring in all other intangibles IMO you prob fall short again.

But, its early July...

As long as James is standing, yo def have a chance.

Mo is a good pickup, plain and simple. The Cavs beat the 2nd best team (chicago) in the East 4-2 without Kyrie, Love, and Varajeo. Depth was the issue. Chicago hasnt done anything in the offseason. Cavs get their injured players back, get Mo and could add another wing. You are worried, it's ok lol

No, Riley made moves to compete with the best in the East. Plain and simple. A title isnt expected, but it is definitely what he is trying for.
The Warriors have done nothing lol.
Spurs have gotten better, but lack of depth could be an issue.
The Cavs have everyone back and added. When you compete with the best without 2 stars it doesnt worry me. Injuries worry me, the depth only helps.

Fans will be ragging on the Cavs all year, just like last year, and when Miami was at the top. Yes, it's expected but Lebron knows this. The Spurs are expected as well and the Warriors. Same pressure for those 3 teams. Should be interesting.

When you have 3 players that take up the entirety of the salary cap, you're really limited in what you can do. They added Ray Allen and Rashard Lewis, along with Shane Battier and Birdman. The Heat went to 4 straight Finals and win 2 titles. Please tell me more about the Heat not making good moves again.
the Heat might have been with Arison--- the Cavs have added or had quality players like Mozgov, Varejao, Shumpert, Thompson--- thats the difference between Gilbert and Arison---- Arison was willing to pay a big 3- but wouldnt pay to put anyone around them- Gilbert is willing to pay to put talent around them

its ridiculous how much better the Cavs supporting players of Mozgov, Thompson, Shumpert, Varejao, now Mo, etc. are than anyone the Heat put around their big 3. Think of how bad those Cavs support players would slaughter the Heats support players from the past....its not even close.

Dan G. is willing to pay for those guys- Arison was only willing to dumpster dive for the Rashards at close to min., the Birdmans at 4-5M a year, the Joel Anthonys-

Its one of the reasons why Bron is in Cleveland and not in Miami right now.

nope not worried. We drafted a good player and we got a good offensive coach that will know how to use Butler and Rose. If Gasol was healthy we would of won the Series. we were up 2-1 with Gasol and we were 0-2 with out him and then lost the last game because the team was just shot. I like the Bulls chances.

IF you are depending on Gasol to win the series this year, good luck with that. Talk about aging, he is 35 and only declining

The bold is ironic since you were a Heat fan while Lebron was in Miami.

When Love and Irving were in the lineup, your defense suffered. Your defense is what kept you in games with the Warriors until depth became an issue.

I'm not worried about Cleveland when it comes to the Spurs. I'm hoping that match up happens in the Finals. The Spurs got added rest this offseason while Lebron taxed himself in another Finals loss.

Yeah, you guys got the Big Triple-Zero ( 0pts, 0rbds, 0dimes).

How many games before Kobe makes him cry?

The Clippers are fucked.

The fact that they are considering bringing Larry Sanders to the land of sticky-green shows how desperate they are.

But, he'd probably be a safer signing than Javelle " Shaqtin a fool" McGee.
Hahaha goodness we were just talkin about McGee.

I agree about Mo.
Huge upgrade over Delly if you need scoring.
