The bold is ironic since you were a Heat fan while Lebron was in Miami.

When Love and Irving were in the lineup, your defense suffered. Your defense is what kept you in games with the Warriors until depth became an issue.

I'm not worried about Cleveland when it comes to the Spurs. I'm hoping that match up happens in the Finals. The Spurs got added rest this offseason while Lebron taxed himself in another Finals loss.

Spurs would have beat the Cavs last year IMO and that was without West/Aldridge.

Last thing in the world LeBron wants is another matchup with Leonard and the boys.

Whats going on with T. Thompson? Why hasn't he or LBJ sign yet. What is going on with that.

Bulls certainly were NOT favored to win the series and neither were the Hawks.

the Heat might have been with Arison--- the Cavs have added or had quality players like Mozgov, Varejao, Shumpert, Thompson--- thats the difference between Gilbert and Arison---- Arison was willing to pay a big 3- but wouldnt pay to put anyone around them- Gilbert is willing to pay to put talent around them

its ridiculous how much better the Cavs supporting players of Mozgov, Thompson, Shumpert, Varejao, now Mo, etc. are than anyone the Heat put around their big 3. Think of how bad those Cavs support players would slaughter the Heats support players from the past....its not even close.

Dan G. is willing to pay for those guys- Arison was only willing to dumpster dive for the Rashards at close to min., the Birdmans at 4-5M a year, the Joel Anthonys-

Its one of the reasons why Bron is in Cleveland and not in Miami right now.

Jesus. The Heat unloaded their roster to set up for the 2010 free agency. Where as we're all aware, the big 3 were signed in Miami. Miller and Haslem, along with Anthony were brought on via mid-tier contracts. However, outside of this, the Heat had no other tangible assets to trade.

The Cavs, had Waiters, Bennett, Thompson, and Irving on rookie deals when Lebron went back to Cleveland on the max. The number one pick in the 2014 draft and Bennett (2013 draft pick, no. 1) was used to get Love. The Cavs had trade assets to go ahead and get guys like Mosgov and Shumpert to later sign on for whatever value due to having their bird rights. Those rookie deals on Thompson and Irving had obviously expired, and now are getting paid .

I'll break it down simply for you, since we always have to do that with Wiggy:

If a salary cap is set at $68 million, and a team is at $85 million, they can't go out and get whomever they want and just throw whatever dollar figure at said player. That player would have to come on via the vet. minimum, or MLE (if the team hasn't used it up).

So, once again, your attempt to knock Arison as an owner is void of any statistical information and is (not surprisingly) extremely short-sighted.

Cavs trying to buy an Championship and to be honest its not looking great. Cavs would be the 6th or 7th best team in the west and they are rolling out a 200-250 million dollar team.

Last team to try and buy a championship was the nets and that didn't work out.

75 isn't saying much if you need to play 100...

And, no Heat fan is looking for any title this year. Totally unrealistic.

The goal is to be back on the path to getting to that level and then hopefully make the big move which puts you in the discussion.

On the other hand, you guys are 'all in, forever' right now and with what the Spurs are doing, with what the Warriors already have, plus factoring in all other intangibles IMO you prob fall short again.

But, its early July...

As long as James is standing, yo def have a chance.
Add to this that while the other two major pieces around LBJ have signed on long term I doubt LBJ does. Which only means when the going gets tough he has a way out while they're stuck in that mess.

James is on a 29M yacht with Wade in the Bahamas playing with his puppet.

Not sure what's up with Tristan.
End of the day he's getting whatever James tells Gilbert.

No chance LBJ signs long term without opt outs.

No, Riley made moves to compete with the best in the East. Plain and simple. A title isnt expected, but it is definitely what he is trying for.
The Warriors have done nothing lol.
Spurs have gotten better, but lack of depth could be an issue.
The Cavs have everyone back and added. When you compete with the best without 2 stars it doesnt worry me. Injuries worry me, the depth only helps.

Fans will be ragging on the Cavs all year, just like last year, and when Miami was at the top. Yes, it's expected but Lebron knows this. The Spurs are expected as well and the Warriors. Same pressure for those 3 teams. Should be interesting.
You think the Spurs have no depth but the Cavs do??? Wow...just wow.

So you are going to be a Spurs fan lol. Heat fans have gone to a low, hoping one team can take down the Cavs :laugh3: Funny stuff. Heat fans are so mad that Lebron actually has a very good team around him for once.

He deserves it.

yep, you had it alright. Lost 4-2 without the Cavs two stars and a banked buzzer-beater to get 1 win. Delusional and hopeful Bulls fan. At least you have heart.

Exactly...which is why they've been reduced to trying to unload arguably their best player just to avoid another bit hit for being a repeat offender of the luxury tax. SMH

No, overall smith shot like 40% and Crawford shot 39%

No, he shot close to 43% for the Cavs. 39 from 3 and 49 from 2. The MVP shot 48% overall and he shot amazing. These guys are jumpshooters they arent going to shot at a very high percentage.

How have the warriors done nothing exactly?? They just kept a 67 win team together
He's been on here bragging day and night about how the Cavs were the next best thing to sliced bread because they got within 2 games of winning a title and the only improvement they've made thus far is signing Mo Williams.

Yet on the other hand the Warriors have done the same thing (that team having won IT ALL) and they've done nothing. His thought process is just asinine imo.

We have already seen what this team can do. Is it so hard for you guys to wrap your brain around it lol. They will do just fine, you guys were saying the same thing last year, that worked out above expectations.

Yeah, Lebron had some scrub teams around him in Miami. Boy, those 3 NBA trophies in Miami look so god awful. Wish we had all of those participation trophies that they have in Cleveland.

And yes, I'll be cheering on the Spurs (like I did with the Dubs) when they take on Cleveland. I'm still a Heat fan no matter what. But I don't jump from team to team like Lebron fans.
