Everyone's been talking about it being what the Lakers did with Kobe. But, Kobe's deal was only 2 years so will them giving Wade 3 be worse?

Yes and no.

Oh, I was one of those folks talking shit about Kobe.

But, what he gives them in the form of revenue , just from the tV money, is 6 times more.

Miami doesn't have a $150 mil a year tV contract.

Here is their problem: He is that Franchise's " Magic Johnson " or " Kobe ".

He has brought them Championships with, and without, Lebron.

It would be disloyal.

The Lakers offered every player a max. They just say, "no thanks, I wanna win". Kinda crazy to think about, but funny.
Lakers just need to prepare for next offseason or the next one after that. Getting a SF could help, but they have no post presence whatsoever.

Sign and trade for Monta?

The Dallas Mavericks have interest in trading for Roy Hibbert if they are unable to secure a deal for DeAndre Jordan in free agency.

The Indiana Pacers would like to trade Hibbert this offseason after they encouraged him to opt out of the final season of his deal.

Indiana drafted Myles Turner and they plan on playing faster moving forward.

Hopefully Tobias Harris goes to the Pistons. We'd finally have a legitimate stretch four after that J-Smoove fiasco.

Looks like the Knicks are trying to steal Kanter from OKC or sign Robin Lopez.

I'm surprised they didn't try to sign brook Lopez.

If he's smart, he'd go to the Bulls even if it is for less money.

1. They're in the East AND they are already one of the better teams
2. Sacramento has Thomas' Knicks written all over it. They had every named player in the league and they were god awful.

Rondo-Matthews-Gay-Cousins doesn't sound bad on paper, but neither did the Zach Randolph era Knicks.

I havent heard anything about the Bulls. I dont think they can offer him $15 mil a year like he wants.

I'm telling you, he is Whiteside 2.0.

I wanted the Clippers to draft him so bad.

But, he went to the Lakers on a undrafted Summer deal.

If his head is together, he could be your guy at the 5.

At the very least, he will give you excellent rim protection while Russell does his thing.
