I agree, but he still has to try to deal with the other 29, long term.

He just wants to show everyone that his is bigger....He could blow it all up if they don't win next year. LOL.

It is amazing how fast teams are giving up on their first round picks.

Kings used their top 10 pick from last year to dumb salary for Rondo

I might be too hard on Irving. I just feel like the Warriors are the only team in a position to be doubling down on what they did last year (and they are)

The Cavs feel like they were ready to compete with anybody for the title before Love and Irving went down. Two wins from the title without arguably 2 of your 3 best players is pretty impressive. Look it is all about match ups in thi league.

So the Heat next year may have the following players: Dragic, Wade, Deng, Bosh, Whiteside, Justice Winslow, Josh McRoberts as their top 7 in their rotations. Maybe Chalmers an Birdman as well but 8 and 9 could be Barea and Boozer.

Solid.
We still could use that target shooter, even though IMO, the last thing we should be doing is shooting 3s.

I don't think it's just for Rondo, I think this might also be to clear space and try to make a move for a shooter like Wes. Might not work, but I don't hate them going for it.

Yeah you're right. I read that they got a meeting with Wes scheduled and they will also try to outbid Indiana for Montae Ellis

Rondo's Win Shares per 48 minutes has dropped every year for the past 6 years

At this point, I think you should actually take a contract hit to put him on a rival's team

I'd love to get Wes, and a 15mil a yr offer for him looks a lot better now with what some guys got. I wouldn't mind Rondo either, even after his dallas time. Surround him with Boogie, Wes, and Rudy on a 1yr deal and I think he would be more like Boston Rondo and not Mavs Rondo.

I thought he was really good in Dallas. It doesn't help with Memphis' fundamental lack of 3pt shooting but it makes them deeper at what they like to do.

And if it doesn't work, he's gone next year and they go somewhere else at PG. Now if they signed him to a multi year deal I'd be worried.
