and having not really deserved to have won last game.
and having a really lucky bounce set up the chance to begin with.

Pete Carroll said he didn't want to run against their goal line package (which they had in vs 3 WR)...but again, it was SECOND down, your RB had just ran for four yards against the goal line D, and is the best goal line back in the game. I don't blame Wilson either, because when you look at the play from a wide lens, the CB closed the gap AMAZINGLY quick. Not sure there's a QB who doesn't throw the ball there. The WR was looking for the ball and couldn't fight off the CB coming, etc. It's just so high risk when you have a near guaranteed OT with a FG.

Carroll is backing up the call...Bevell is too. Apparently he said he thought Lockette could've went to the ball harder. That's not what I saw. Frankly it was an incredible play by Butler. Still, high risk.

You've got one of - if not the - best goal line running backs in football and a QB that would have been the leading rusher on 16 different teams. And enough time (when including the timeout) to run three plays from the 1 yard line.

You're also the 27th ranked passing offense but the #1 ranked rushing offense (by a big margin).

It makes no sense whatsoever.

FWIW, happy we saw a good game. I was concerned after the Packers blew it that we had lost the best possible matchup, especially after seeing the Packers-Patriots game on Thanksgiving. But this did not disappoint.

New England owes them a large fruit basket because Seattle saved them from the most inexcusable call ever - Belichick let the clock run down too far(no I don't think it was a master plan to force Seattle to throw the ball, if that was the case then Seattle would have called timeout) and if Seattle scored, he would have been the biggest idiot of the century

I have seen what I would term a "noticeable" amount of facebooks posts expressing disgust that someone would be allowed to participate in a championship game after running afoul of the law/rules of the game.

It only hurts when I laugh. Or walk. Or cough. Or lay down. But especially when I laugh.

So, congrats to.. whoever won. I don't know, "America's team" I guess? There was a new Top Ger to watch last night. Plus, you know, pain meds.
