This team's insufferable. Vernon Davis went to shit and nobody else stepped up. Offence needs a complete rebuild. Really don't know about Kaep, either. The past couple weeks the offence hadn't looked very good but I wasn't exactly blaming him for it, but last night was ugly (the first half at least; I stopped watching after).

alot of other 49ers fans did too ... including the ones that went to the game

Sherman made mention of that in the post-game presser - I can see why non-Seahawks fans detest the guy, but he backs up his mouth with his play on the field.

I avoided reading too much on this because I didn't want to get into any discussions about it with inlaws. But I just read the decision.

All along, there was one point where I was kind of with him. He was being pretty harshly punished not for what he did, but because the NFL and the Ravens got embarrassed by getting caught trying to sweep it under the rug. And that's exactly what the decision was based on. He told them the truth from the outset, and when shit went bad, they turned on him. He is a despicable piece of shit, but on this point, he was not wrong.

And we can hope that the subsequent lawsuit he will no doubt file will expose the NFL and teams' mishandling and covering up of violent crime, effecting meaningful change.

I actually got that out with a straight face. :thumb:

I would be surprised if he gets picked up by anyone. The NFL looks bad and the further they keep him away from the game, the better they will feel. Any owner who tries to extend a contract to him will get Goodell all in their shit.

Someone is bound to offer a second chance.

I agree with you that it's likely to happen, but I doubt it happens this year.

There's only a handful of teams that a) have a need and b) would be willing to deal with the inevitable shitstorm it would produce. But I don't think any of them are willing to deal with it until the off-season.
