He does not have to win the lawsuit, the results are irrelevant... IT will be dragged on and sterling will do all he can to make the NBA higher ups lifes miserable...

No he wont if he wants to leave something behind. If he is forced to pay court costs for such a maneuver his estate will be bankrupt. Also the NBA has more money than he does and can impose more penalties in just such and event. Silver has an army of attorneys that are guiding him. Dont quit your day job attorney in training.

No court in the land is going to accept illegally obtained evidence, and cali (assuming she was in cali while recording) has even more specific laws about it to block its usage.

The good thing is they dont have to since this is not a legal issue.

It will never get to court - the bi-laws specify that the Mr Stering accepts the findings of the arbitration process. No court will ever see the case.

One more thing - illegal evidence is admissible in court under the correct circumstances - you're wrong there. Now in California - the recording which cost him a 535 million business could by law hold Stiviano liable for 3 times the loss - 1.5 billion dollars. Good luck in collecting that from a 23 year old gold digger:laugh3::laugh3::laugh3:

Karma Police arrest this man...

Wait till the liberal media echo chambers starts tackling the juvenile locker room atmosphere of the NBA when a gay star comes out

Too bad he wasn't in Dog fighting. He could at least keep his team and still be loved by millions of NBA fans.

Does any of these morons ever study and read the bi-laws of the NBA before saying such stupid things?

Sterling will never get to court if the owners vote to remove him. He would be wise to sell now while he can. Potential buyers will see blood and lowball the buying price

LOL - you're telling the truth - I guess it depends on how heavily leveraged he is on that sheet. He might be worth the 535 million on paper, but owe that much, but for someone like Sterling - that is just one piece of the entire picture and it's how all of his plusses and negatives add up together

He bought the team for something silly like $13 million and has a net worth of over 2 bil. I can't imagine he's that over levered on the Clips.

I doubt it either but you never know. One thing for sure though - his ass is gone - Stiviano stuck him in the ass real good:lol::laugh3::suds:

That would be hardcore if he did levy the Clipps. Wouldn't be surprised knowing business practices of today tho.

I suppose the NBA has their ducks in a row legally, but this seems like quite the step, and I would think Sterling has some legal recourse here, especially the forced sale of the team.

That was my original question. Because if he can take it to court the nba wouldnt have a leg to stand on. Assuming the nba doesnt employ retarded gutter attys, Id guess they know this and its just lip service.

No they don't. They take 5 minutes of research and or tv time and then form their ridiculous solutions and opinions.

even if this recording is not admissible, there is more than enough evidence that is public record
