Swain is going to be the blocking TE, in the mold of a Dan Campbell

If he is 1/2 as good as Campbell that will be a good player

Okay, maybe I am overselling Swaim. Dan Campbell was a fine TE for a number of years. Maybe Swaim will be closer to an older/end of career Dan Campbell, when Campbell was almost strictly a blocker.

I think it's too early to say who's on the team. It makes sense to replace Hanna with a cheaper version but Swaim still has to show he's capable of playing in the NFL.

I think the team is ready to move on from Hannah. I doubt he makes it out of preseason with the team. Hannah, doesn't do anything very well. He is a subpar blocker and subpar pass catcher. Escobar is the second pass catcher. Swain is going to be the blocking TE, in the mold of a Dan Campbell.

Hannah was a great blocker last year. Coming into the year he had the knock that he couldn't block but he blocked well all year last year.
